TROPHY Champion Champagne & Method Traditionelle

Champagne Marion-Bosser Brut 2008

We are extremely thrilled to announce that Champagne Marion-Bosser Brut 2008 won the Trophy award at the 2019 New Zealand International Wine Show (NZIWS). This is a most prestigious award. You just don’t get better than this! This champagne has wowed all and has received terrific acclaim and quite deservedly because it’s a stunning outstanding champagne!

We are so proud to have the Marion-Bosser label in our cellar of fantastic champagnes. While we have the privilege of stocking and marketing this fabulous champagne and also drinking it on occasion, the real heros who deserve all the credit and praise are the mother and daughter team, Elodie and Bernadette Marion.

The Trophy topped a great awards evening. We also were awarded a:

Gold medal for the Marion-Bosser Rosé

Silver for the Jean Josselin Cuvée Des Jean

Bronze for the Monmarthe Secret de Famille.

All in all, it was a stellar result for our champagnes. All of these champagnes continue to impress and win acclaim.

To date we have entered 3 of the Marion-Bosser champagnes and the 3 have all been awarded Gold. Incredible result for incredible champagne! If you haven’t had the pleasure of trying any of these champagnes, don’t hesitate!

Prepare to be wowed!

Champagne Marion-Bosser Premier Millesime 2008 is due to arrive in the next week.  This is a truly a spectacular champagne!  Don’t just take my word for it, see what Ian Ganble, Master Sommelier has to say.

Having visited the tightly knit Marion-Bosser family during my recent travels, I can confidently say I’m both a subscriber to their classic ‘Burgundian’ philosophies and an avid supporter of their delicious micro-production wines. Marion-Bosser’s 2008 is a resounding achievement that can rival almost any Champagne you want to throw at it—they have the terroir, traditional style, and forbearance needed to craft a world-class vintage Champagne (something they manage to release at a ridiculously affordable price).  Read on…https://www.sommselect.com/?product=marion-bosser-premier-cru-millesime-2008
