Description
Double Gold NZIWS 2020
The 2008 won the Trophy at the New Zealand International Wine Show 2019 and the 2012 Double Gold.
A blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir with 5 years on lees.
Golden yellow in colour with fine and abundant bubbles. The nose is complex and slightly roasted, with hints of violets and stone fruits. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is elegant. It is creamy and lush with gentle mousse. This is an elegant, finely concentrated Vintage Champagne with beautifully balanced stonefruit and bready autolysis on a seamless palate. An expertly composed Champagne!
